FAQ'S
How do I book a floral consultation?
Ans. o The fastest way to book a free consultation is by calling our office at 407-851-7368 Monday – Friday between 8am -4pm. You can also fill out the short floral request and one of our designers will be in touch with you to ask more details and schedule an appointment. It is important we speak with you first to get a better idea of your style and vision to make the best use of your time and have a successful consultation. Appointments can be done in person at our design studio, over the phone or through Zoom, which ever works best for you.
What should I expect in the consultation appointment?
Ans. o Our goal is to understand what is important to you. Starting with your inspirational images, color pallet, specific floral selection and what is non-negotiable. Lastly but important we must know your desired budget or investment is. We know sometimes is hard to determine, especially if you have no idea but, understanding where your budget will be allocated will help us determine which floral selection. Don’t worry if you don’t know anything related to flowers; that’s our job. We will ask all the questions to make recommendations every step of the way.
Where should I start?
Ans. o Needs + Wants is a good formula to get started. Once you have selected your venue floor plan and your guest list is started this will help determine the number of tables. If this is a wedding, basic needs typically start with quantities for centerpieces and your wedding party then ceremony and altar décor. After this we can discuss corsages, flower girl and ring bearer, signage (welcome, seating charts, etc.), cake flowers and any other miscellaneous décor.
May I see a mockup of the floral selection?
Ans. o We can create a mockup. Based on our initial consultation we can determine what would be the cost of the mockup and schedule a second consultation in our studio.
I don’t know if my budget is big enough for what I want. Can you assist in cases like this?
Ans. o Absolutely, we always aim to keep you within your budget. In some instances, we will guide you in the right direction so there might be some selections of floral that have to be compromised. Here are some tips we always share with our clients in our consultations.
- Choosing less expensive flower options that have a similar look.
- Using more expensive flowers only where they will have the most impact.
- Repurposing arrangements from the ceremony into reception.
- Try to limit unnecessary pieces or “single use” items.
